Do you want to know something, before I even started my blog about computers I had no idea about the use of computers, what they were ment to be use for, and how often are they used for that certain use.
Did you know that the oringinal computer was to be used for military use, I sure didn't, well they were. In fact the first military used computer was named the ENIAC, which is the Electronic Numerical Integerator And Computer. The ENIAC was designed to calculate artillery fire tables for the United State Army's Ballistic Research Laboratory.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ENIAC)
The ENIAC was designed and constructed to be used for the United States Army in World War 2.

Wow I mean believe that, it only took twenty seconds for the computer to calcualte what it would take for a human being to calculate for fourty hours. The more sophisticated computers became the better they were used in wars, battles, and information about the other countries that were a danger hazard to others (spying). Well thats one thing i didn't know about the computer.
Another thing I didn't know about the computer was that the use of computers today is so abused like for example the computer has internet right? Well some people see it as a place to be nasty, when the internet is supposed to be used for researching, writing, and having fun, but not that type of fun. The computer is also being used to communicate throuh the internet like facebook, instagram, twitter, and other communication websites, but yet again people see that as a free gift to do what ever they want to say or post on the internet. The computer is a magnificant gift to use, like doctors use it to find out how to treat the diseases the patient might have, or scientist use it to find a cure for the disease. So remember to use the computer the way it was supposed to be used not for what you think it is used for.
Finally the last thing I didn't know about the use of computers is that when the computer was first invented, it was never sold to people like they are today, the army, companys, and/or even the upper class only had computers. Computers were being sold as Personal Computers (PC) in 1970, so can you imagine what it would be like to go so long without a computer in your house, well the people who lived in the 1900's did but thats a different story. In fact the PC was mainly used for video games, and most computers were like todays computer, and a whole lot slower, but the computer had a monitor and usally had a membrane or chiclet keyboard, or in other words were made of cheap hand made keyboards. The computer was really boring compared to the computers today so don't take advantage of what you got because you might not have it some day.
